Fishing offers many attractive aspects for young kids. To start off, it’s a good way to get the kids outside and enjoy nature, rather than sitting at home playing video games. It’s not only fun, but offers children, like adults, a chance to relieve some stress from everyday life. Fishing is also very social, encouraging families and friends to spend quality time together on the water. Other benefits of fishing include:
Improving focus/mental health
Train your patience
Satisfaction/Reward of catching fish on your own
Many kids want to start fishing but don’t know where to start. Look no further! At Mr. B’s Fishing Camp, each camper will be taught how to properly put line on a reel, how to tie knots, bait selection, how to put bait on, casting techniques, and how to safely handle their catch in practicing catch and release. Our very own FISHING TOURNAMENT will be held at the end of camp on Friday. Come and join us for the fun!
